Improvisages ja Keitele Jazz 2009
Yesterday. Improvisages, Jori and I, played a nice little gig at the opening of an Art Exhibition. Some Thelonius Monk, some of our own compositions and then some improvisations. Bright 'n' happy music.
And after the above mentioned gig one hundred meters walk downhill and we were at the main concert site of Keitele Jazz Festival. There were Chris Farlowe and Norman Beaker Band, the Animals with Spencer Davis and Procol Harum. Old English rock. Unfortunately Gary Brooker had just broken a couple of his ribs... He could sing only some short passages here and there. That was sad. But it was very brave to come and perform even though he was so badly hurt.
