Flowers from my front yard. - Most of the day I just worked with my music - wrote some music, recorded percussion and bass guitar and then did quite a lot of mixing... Actually this quite ordinary for me. (Juha H.)

I just finished reading Absolution Gap written by Alastais Reynolds. The story was a quite massive Space Opera with weird mechanical culture trying to destroy everything living and space faring... I liked the whole a lot. What now? Should I read more Reynolds or some Ben Bova for change?

Today I finally had the time and mastered Aina - Sini's and mine brand new musical project. The whole is ready and burned to CD. Plus it sounds very good! So happy I am.

PasuunaPelimannit played a gig in Jyvaskyla. This time we performed locally composed FolkMusic almost exclusively. This year and this early heat of summer came here - way up North. Warm weather is so nice after a really cold winter.

Sini and I spent this Friday in Jyvaskyla. It was all hot and nice - to see people and some art exhibitions...

And after our little journey I did have some time to record many different instruments with Pro Tools...

And later in the evening Sini and I have been watching and listening to some DVDs - Zappa Playes Zappa, J.J. Cale, Rush and - right now - Stevie Vai is performing with Where the Wild Things Are...

While trekkin' today. - Sini and I went to some deep forest today. Above a photo of a little brook we saw today.
Tonight them Dead Cult Diaries are performing in Tampere, Finland. All our kids are there - J-V as a performer, Jopo as a roadie and Hanna-Maaria with the audience. I wish them all very much joy and happiness!! (Juha H.)

Rainy day. This is not nice because it's not comfortable to walk outside in a pouring rain. Well, anyways Sini and I didn't do it... So I had time to do some recording of different musical instruments. Pro tools is so nice to work with - and I did save to HardDisk some tracks of clarinet, tinwhistle, domra and Akai EWI...

Friday.

I edited and rendered to DVD the gig Maija P, Sini and me performed last sunday in Lapinlahti at the residence of Bishop Arseni. The video is quite ok - well, at least as a document.

Earlier today it was time for me to listen to Spock's Beard and The Kindness of Strangers. What a wonderful album!! Masterful musicians and so very interesting music.

I got me a new bass guitar - Ibanez SDGR. Five strings and very nice. And of course now my fingertips are a bit sore. That's the way it goes.

InterGalactic FolkMusic Orchestra rehearsed today in Jyvaskyla. And all was so very, very nice!

And while coming back home it was time to listen to Transatlantic and their album Bridge Across Forever. And it was very nice, too.
