Back from Tampere, Finland. There performed Antony Parviainen Trio - all six members of the band - a mighty fine gig.

Takaisin Tallinnasta

Blues band.  -  Sini and I visited Tallinn, Estonia. We stayed there for three days and saw some mighty fine organ and some other concerts. Especially Hortus Musicus was amazing. But in the end of our stay there we ended up listening the blues band pictured above. The duo was from Finland. (Juha H.)

Musaa ja matkailua

I've been quite busy lately. Lots of work with photos. I've been choosing and fixing pics for the next Improvisages concert... Now it's done.

What about music? Well, I added these to my iPod - Flying Colors (their first and just released CD), Ian Anderson's Thick as a Brick 2 (You know Jethro Tull?), Emilia Lajunen's Turquoise Bicycle ( Modern Finish Folk Music...) and some of my own stuff...

Tomorrow Sini and I are going to Tallinn, Estonia. Jan Garbarek Group with Trilok Gurtu is performing there on Saturday. Nice, very nice!!

Vanhahko digitaalinen maalaus

Digital painting I did twenty years ago. The original pic was created  with Amiga Computer. Then it was photographed and the slide was reflected on boys thinking some deep thoughts... Last weekend I digitized the pic again.

Tomorrow Sini and I are goint to travel to Tallinn. Nice days ahead - some organ music and a concert of Moya Brennan. (Juha H.)

Konsertti ja matkaan

Sini  and I were in a concert in Suolahtisali.  There performed  Jyväskylä Sinfonia  some very nice music - Prokofiev,  Beethoven and  especially wonderful was the violin concerto composed by Atso Almila. Modern concert music and the soloist was quite a fantastic improviser Mikko-Ville Luolajan-Mikkola.  Music makes me so very happy, happy.

Tomorrow Sini and I are going to travel to Rome, Italy for a vacation. We're going to stay there for a week.
