Yesterday - Arild Andersen Trio performing at the KeiteleJazz Festival 2010. Marvelous and very Nordic music.

Today Ensemble Hoikkaset played a very, very nice gig in Konnevesi. Finnish Folk Music exclusively.

Tomorrow Sini and I are going to travel to Tallinn, Estonia for a couple of days. Once again we go to this nice little city. (Juha H.)

Pasuunapelimannit rehearsed today. Finnish Folk Music - no jazz or any other musical style this time. Tomorrow morning we are going to Kaustinen Folk Music Festival for two days to perform some music there. Probably it's going to be very folkish but I hope there would be some jam sessions, too.

Yesterday Inter Galactic Folk Music Orchestra had a long rehearsal in Jyvaskyla. All was very nice. I was home quite late.

Today Wojciech T was here again, this time with a pianist. I recorded three compositions they played. Woitek's projects number 2. and 3. are more and more ready. But alas! Next week Woitek is going to travel back to Poland.

Uusi alku

New begining. Today I recorded first tracks for my next musical project. Some keyboards, some woodwinds are done for the first song of the next musical adventure. During the winter - in December and January - I composed approximately 20 poems written by Veikko-Kalevi Riihinen. Now has come the time to make the sheet music sing!!

Siniset kukat ZZ Topille

Blue flowers for ZZ Top. - Jopo showed me this video today. The drummer is very lively and he must be really good to perform relatively simple music this way! And even the rest of the band moves quite a lot more than the real ZZ Top. (Juha H.)
