Improvisages keikalla

Improvisages LIVE. We performed in the Spektri Art Gallery as a duo this time. There are some Ari's paintings in the backround. Half and half - written and totally improvised music. Nice anyways.

FC Konemiehet won the local football Cup today, again like a year ago. After the Improvisages gig Sini and I had some time and watched the final matches. Some soccer fun!

And in the evening there was a very interesting concert in Aanekoski. Improvised music performed by a French trio Amarco - alto violin, cello and double bass. Some Bartok, some gesture (?) jazz and lots of good improvised music. (Juha H. ; Photo: Sini)

FC Konemiehet (= FC Machine Men) made history today and won the local Football Cup. Sini and I documented this wonderful event here - a video and nineteen photos. J-V was the team's "manager"... (Juha H.)

While trekking today - Sini hugging a big old pine tree. Some ten kilometers of walking in the forest... Rest of the day just playing flute, sax and other instruments - plus some recording, some writing of music. - But now's the time for soccer. Semifinal game of European Championship 2008: Russia - Spain. (Juha H.)

Sini in Parga, Greece. - Most of the day I've just been fixin' them photos Sini and I took in Greece. Music - I've only played some three hours flute, ten sax and domra... Now Netherlands and Russia are playing soccer. It's so fantastic to watch such a good game... (Juha H.)

Midsummer eve. Finland and I think at least some other Nordic countries celebrate today Midsommer. Summer Solstice is still some days away. But for us - this is it. Weekend is a good time to celebrate. - Most of the day I just played different instruments, wrote music... and later - meeting with relatives.

Now some TV-watching of football - European soccer championship. And then maybe later some BBQ.
